Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Theft’ Claims

Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Theft’ Claims

Electoral Fraud.

The results give Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s claims. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) planned a “large-scale vote theft”. During the Haryana Assembly elections last year, a new context.

According to Gandhi’s claims, which were initially made public on Wednesday, up to 25 lakh votes—roughly 12.5% of Haryana’s 2 crore registered voters—were “stolen” in the state. He said, “This means one in eight voters in Haryana are fake, 12.5%.” He accused the Election Commission of supporting or, at the very least, ignoring what he called a “centralised operation.”

Duplicate Voter Entries.

A picture of a purported Brazilian model is at the heart of the dispute. The Leader of the Opposition claims that the image is displayed 22 times in 10 polling places in the Rai constituency. Each time is associated with a distinct name.

Gandhi showed the press voter list entries with the woman’s picture under names like Saraswati, Seema, and Sweety. The image was freely available for download from stock photography websites, according to an independent investigation.

She has several names and casts her ballot in ten different Haryana booths. This indicates that the operation is centralized,” he stated.

In another case, he added, the same constituency’s two polling booths displayed the same woman’s photo 223 times. He claimed, “This is the reason the Election Commission destroys CCTV footage of booths.”

Fake or invalid addresses.

Four people from a single family—Rahul, Anuj, Sakshi, and Sonia—were reported missing.
On election day, Ajay, a villager and Krishan’s son, was unable to find his name.
Saddam and his spouse found out that both of their names had been deleted.
Malikpur resident Anjali Tyagi, Amit’s wife. She said that she had cast a ballot in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections but was unable to do so in the Assembly elections that followed.
I cast a ballot in the Lok Sabha elections. But I did not cast a ballot in the Assembly election.

Rakesh Sauda, a spokesman for the Congress, ruled out the possibility of a technical or administrative error. He brought up the case of “Munesh,” a purported voter whose ID card featured the same image of a Brazilian model.

“Nobody in our village is married to a woman named Munesh. “This is blatant vote theft, not a mistake,” he claimed.

The Hydrogen Bomb, Rahul Gandhi’s Claim.

Gandhi claimed that a well-planned scheme had been carried out to turn what he called “Congress’s landslide victory into a loss,” revealing what he called the “Hydrogen Bomb.”

“I have complete evidence to support my claims that the Election Commission and India’s democratic process are flawed. Gandhi claimed, “We are certain that a scheme was implemented to turn Congress’s overwhelming victory into a defeat.

He emphasized that, although internal surveys and exit polls conducted prior to the elections had predicted a Congress victory. The final results revealed a BJP victory.

Gandhi referenced a video clip of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini telling reporters that “arrangements” had been made and that the BJP was sure of winning two days after the polls.

“What were these agreements? Everyone is claiming that the Congress party is winning the election two days after it was held.

Gandhi also called attention to the odd trend in postal ballots, saying that for the first time in Haryana’s electoral history, postal votes deviated from polling booth results.

“I have complete evidence to support my claims that the Election Commission and India’s democratic process are flawed. “We have no doubt that a strategy was implemented to turn Congress’s overwhelming win into a defeat,” he stated.

Gandhi claims that Congress candidates voiced their concerns about discrepancies in polling-day figures as soon as the results were announced. According to him, the party narrowly lost eight seats. Including one by just thirty-two votes. All of these small defeats added up to a total of 22,779 votes. Which is almost the same number as the BJP needed to win a majority.

Election Commission’s Answer.

They questioned why, during that process, the Congress party did not object. According to a source, “they are supposed to object if the elector has already voted or if they doubt the identity of the elector.”

Gandhi’s belief that phony voters backed the BJP was also questioned by the source.

The source went on to ask, “Is Congress leader Pawan Khera voting twice if his name appears on the voter lists of two states?”

Sources claim that the EC’s voter database has the ability to automatically flag duplicate entries. Indicating that widespread duplication of the type claimed would have been simple to find.
