With a starting price of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom), the Hero Glamour X is comparatively less expensive than the Xtreme 125R.

Hero Motocorp has introduced the Glamour X, a new model in the 125 cc motorcycle market. The bike’s starting price (ex-showroom) for the drum version is Rs 89,999, while the disc version costs Rs 99,999. Compared to the previous generation, the bike in this avatar has several improvements. The motorcycle’s design and features have changed as a result of these updates. First of all, the Hero Glamour X has a more muscular body, which is immediately apparent. The addition of tank shrouds and the tank’s creases and curves complete this. A new headlamp with an H-shaped DRL is one of the changes, even though the seat is still a single piece. The tail lamp follows a similar design pattern, which adds to the bike’s modern appearance.

The commuter motorcycle’s ergonomics have been enhanced by the two-wheeler manufacturer in tandem with the design modifications. Wider handlebars with a 30 mm increase in width, an upright seating position with a 790 mm seat height, and 170 mm of ground clearance are examples of these modifications. In addition, the seat has wider grab rails and 10% more space for the pillion.

One of the features that the two-wheeler manufacturer has added to the motorcycle is a color-changing LCD screen. This provides access to more than 60 features, such as navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. The company has included some segment-first features, such as cruise control, an electronic throttle with ride-by-wire technology, and three riding modes—Eco, Road, and Power—to further increase the bike’s allure for buyers. The brand also equipped the motorcycle with a rear panic brake alert for added safety.

The Hero Glamour X is powered by a 124.7 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates 11.3 horsepower and a maximum torque of 10.5 Nm. The brand has utilised the same unit on the Xtreme 125R. A Diamond-style frame encloses the unit.
