Realme P4 5G mobile series launching in India today: Check price, features.
As promised, Realme just released the P4 Pro 5G smartphone in India. The phone has a 6.8-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED 4D curved BOE screen with a 1.72mm ultra-narrow bottom bezel, a 94% screen-to-body ratio, 1800 nits HBM brightness, up to 6500 nits local peak brightness, and PWM dimming.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which powers the realme P4 Pro, was created using a 4nm TSMC process and, according to the company, has an Antutu benchmark score of more than 1.1 million. Multitasking, general computing, and core application performance will all be managed by this chipset.
A specialised HyperVision AI chipset, driven by Pixelworks’ X7 Gen 2 visual processor, functions in tandem with the Snapdragon processor. Specialised visual computations, such as graphics rendering, frame rate upscaling, and AI-based resolution enhancement, are handled by this secondary chip. Realme claims that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 can perform on par with more expensive chipsets thanks to this hardware-level offloading of visual tasks.
According to the company, this dual-chip setup allows for real-time frame generation, resolution upscaling to 1.5K, and stable 144FPS gameplay in more than 100 supported titles. AI Hyper Clarity, AI Hyper Motion, and AI Always-On HDR are features credited to the HyperVision AI chip. Additionally, the GT Performance Engine 3.0 will be incorporated into the device for sustained performance and thermal management.
Up to 12GB of RAM and up to 14GB of virtual RAM are features of the phone, along with a 7000mm² VC cooling system. Along with three Android OS updates and four years of security updates, the phone comes pre-installed with Android 15 and Realme UI 6.0.
The realme P4 Pro 5G has two 50MP AI cameras. A 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) is the focal point of the rear system, while a 50MP OV50D camera is located in the front. Video recording at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second (FPS) is supported by both the front and rear cameras.
Additionally, HDR video recording up to 4K 30FPS is available on the device. AI Motion Stabilisation, Hypershot Architecture with Ultra Steady video, and several AI-powered modes like AI Travel Snap, AI Landscape, and a mobile document scanner are examples of software improvements.
Its thin 7.68mm chassis contains a 7000mAh Titan Battery. According to the manufacturer, this battery can run BGMI at 90 frames per second for more than 8 hours. The device has 10W reverse charging capability and supports 80W Ultra Charge, which can charge the battery to 50% in 25 minutes.
With a back panel made of high-quality tech-wood that is intended to last and have a natural texture, the realme P4 Pro boasts a Living Nature Design. Three natural-inspired finishes will be offered for the device: Midnight Ivy (a subdued emerald green), Dark Oak Wood (a deep brown finish), and Birch Wood (a light, warm tone).
